Realty Pro Group LLC (“Realty Pro Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a licensed real estate brokerage headquartered in Destin, Florida, and licensed in the States of Florida and Alabama. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information in connection with www.therealtyprogroup.com (the “Site”) and the related communications and services we provide.
This policy applies to information collected through the Site, through forms you submit to us, and through phone, email, or text communications that follow. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, to the individual websites or social media pages operated independently by our agents, or to the privacy practices of other companies we do not control.
By using the Site or submitting information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
When you complete our contact form, request information, inquire about a property, apply to join our team, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:
When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically by our hosting provider and any analytics tools we use, including:
We may receive information about you from third parties, including referral sources, real estate portals and advertising platforms through which you submitted an inquiry, multiple listing services (MLS), public records including county property appraiser and tax records, title companies, lenders, cooperating brokerages, and other parties involved in a transaction.
We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers) through the Site’s contact form. Information of that nature is collected, where required, later in a transaction through secure channels appropriate to the purpose — not through this website. Please do not send sensitive information to us by unsecured email or through the Site’s contact form.
We use the information we collect to:
When you submit your telephone number or email address through the Site, you are asking us to contact you, and you consent to being contacted by Realty Pro Group and its agents by telephone call, text/SMS message, and email regarding your inquiry and our real estate services. Message and data rates may apply. Contact frequency varies.
You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us using the details in Section 21 to be removed from our contact lists. Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from contacting you about an active transaction or an existing service relationship where necessary.
Your consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing, selling, leasing, or otherwise obtaining any property or service from us.
We share personal information only as described below:
Realty Pro Group does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We do not rent or trade contact lists. Sharing occurs only as described in Section 5.
The Site and our operations rely on third-party providers that may process information on our behalf. These currently include, and may over time include:
Each of these providers maintains its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with directly.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as remembering preferences and maintaining security) and, where enabled, for analytics that help us understand how visitors use the Site.
Most web browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete cookies, or alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable cookies, some portions of the Site may not function as intended. Instructions are available in your browser's help or settings section.
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. These measures include limiting access to personal information to personnel with a legitimate business need, using encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Site, and requiring individual credentials for access to systems containing client or agent information.
However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you acknowledge that you provide information to us at your own risk. Please do not transmit sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or wiring instructions by unsecured email.
Wire fraud warning: Real estate transactions are a frequent target of wire fraud. We will never send you wiring instructions or a change to wiring instructions by email. Always verify any wiring instructions by calling a known, independently verified telephone number for your closing agent before transferring funds.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our business records, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. As a licensed real estate brokerage, we are required to retain transaction records and related documentation for periods established by Florida and Alabama law and by our regulators. Inquiry and marketing records are retained for a reasonable period and then deleted or de-identified.
Regardless of where you live, you may contact us to:
To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 21. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
Please note that certain information must be retained where we have a legal, regulatory, or record-retention obligation to keep it — for example, executed transaction documents required to be maintained under Florida or Alabama real estate law.
Several U.S. states have enacted consumer privacy laws granting residents additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to access and obtain a copy of it, the right to correct or delete it, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information.
Some of these laws apply only to businesses that exceed certain revenue or data-volume thresholds, and Realty Pro Group may not meet those thresholds. Nevertheless, as a matter of practice we extend the core rights described in Section 11 to all visitors, regardless of residency, and we honor opt-out requests from any individual. If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Florida, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law and wish to exercise a right under that law, contact us using the details in Section 21 and we will respond consistent with applicable requirements.
California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those parties' direct marketing purposes; as stated in Section 6, we do not make such disclosures.
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. There is currently no uniform industry standard for responding to DNT signals, and the Site does not respond to them at this time. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies under state law). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including lender sites, listing portals, agents' personal websites, and social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them.
Property information displayed on or through the Site, including information sourced from MLSs and public records, is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed and should be independently verified. Listing content is subject to the terms of the applicable MLS and the copyright of its owner.
Realty Pro Group agents and staff who register for or use any password-protected portal we operate provide additional information, which may include name, business contact information, real estate license number and expiration date, professional biography and photograph, transaction and production records, and account credentials. This information is used to administer the brokerage relationship, maintain licensing and compliance records, calculate commissions and any applicable caps or revenue sharing, perform transaction file review, and operate the portal.
Portal information is accessible to brokerage administrators. Agents are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity under their account. Portal accounts are deactivated when an agent leaves the brokerage, though records required for regulatory or transactional purposes are retained as described in Section 10.
Realty Pro Group operates in Florida and Alabama and directs its services to those markets. The Site is hosted and our information is processed in the United States. If you access the Site from another state or from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
In the event of a breach of security affecting personal information, we will investigate promptly and provide notification to affected individuals and to any regulator as and when required by applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act and comparable Alabama law.
Realty Pro Group is committed to equal housing opportunity and complies with the federal Fair Housing Act and all applicable state and local fair housing laws. We do not use personal information to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
We are committed to making the Site accessible to the widest possible audience and work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). If you have difficulty accessing any part of this Site or need information in an alternative format, please contact us and we will work to assist you.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required by law. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
